ThermoWood® Pine is a beautiful and eco-friendly solid wood decking material that is produced using a natural process involving only heat and steam, without any chemicals. The Finnish-grown European Redwood (Scandinavian Pine) is heat-treated to temperatures exceeding 200 degrees Celsius. This process makes the wood durable, stable, resin-free, and gives it a warm brown hue. ThermoWood Pine is an excellent material for outdoor decks as it has improved properties that can withstand the elements.
ThermoWood Pine decking is smooth on all sides and has grooves on the sides to fit a clip system (also available). The side grooves allow for installation with no visible fixings on the deck surface. It can also be installed using conventional methods with deck screws fixed through the face of the board.
ThermoWood Pine decking has a stylish appearance and feels comfortable underfoot, even in hot weather. The production process does not involve any chemicals, making it free of toxins and safe for children to play on.
