The Filon Continuous GRP Dry Soaker is a reliable and durable solution for pitched roofs with tiles or slates that abut a wall. This L-shaped flashing creates a concealed gutter against the wall with a sanded bar, allowing tiles or slates to be bedded onto it. Made from shatter-resistant, tough Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP), this dry soaker provides excellent protection against adverse weather conditions and serves as an excellent alternative to lead.
In addition to its excellent weather resistance, this dry soaker is highly fire-resistant, meeting the requirements of "Fire Tests" Parts 3 and 7 as specified in BS476. It is also resistant to thermal movement and features built-in UV light stabilizers that prevent it from becoming brittle in extreme weather conditions. The lightweight and malleable design of the soaker makes it easy to cut and install, without any specialized equipment required. Furthermore, the built-in mortar grips ensure a strong bond between the tile and the valley, making it a perfect choice for a range of roofing applications.
