Promax Aluminium 0.6mm Starter Track 90mm
When installing EWI insulation systems, you need to use an Aluminium Starter Track (2.5m). This track sits above the DPC layer, near the bottom of the wall, and creates a stable, protective ledge to build up the insulation boards. The Aluminium Starter Track is an affordable option that offers great value for money.
It is also easy to install and has excellent durability, making it a popular choice for installers across the country. Make sure to order the width of the Starter Track that matches the insulation thickness you are installing. Please note that the starter track does not come with any mesh attached to the leading edge. We recommend purchasing this Starter Track with a Clip-on Profile, which can clip onto the front edge and be meshed into the basecoat layer.
Intended Uses
The Starter Track is a basic component of external solid wall insulation systems. It is installed at the lowest point of the wall to provide a level starting base for the insulation system. The track is made of aluminium and comes in 2.5 linear metre lengths. Its primary function is to ensure an even base for the insulation system.
