Micafil Vermiculite 100L
Micafil Vermiculite is a naturally occurring mineral that is expanded at high temperatures to produce aerated particles that are 90% air by volume. Its free-running properties make it easy to install, as it can be poured straight from the bag into and over all potential heat loss areas. By covering the entire loft floor with a continuous layer of insulation, you can create a carpet of heat-trapping material that will level off any irregularities in the floor.
Micafil Vermiculite is completely fireproof, non-irritating, and fibre-free, making it ideal for use in a variety of applications. It is easy to install, free-flowing, and lightweight, making it perfect for thermal and acoustic insulation in lofts, between floors, interior cavity walls, and for pipe protection.
You can also mix Micafil with cement to create lightweight concrete for insulating roof and floor screeds, as well as for thermal insulation behind back-boilers, between chimney flues and linings, and around pipe work.
