Cromar ProGRP Simulated Lead Trim C100 serves as a replacement for traditional lead flashing. This preformed trim is designed to be used with the D260 angle fillet. When installed as flashing, the trim can be cut on-site to fit, and it does not require a topcoat, as it already has a waterproof coating.
The trim measures 3 metres in length and 100 mm in depth, with a 35 mm wall penetration and a built-in self-securing moisture trap. The flashing trim is inserted into a chase cut into the brickwork and secured with polyurethane (PU) trim adhesive, which prevents water ingress.
Installation Instructions:
1. Use a suitable angle grinder to cut a chase into the brickwork mortar joint.
2. Apply a continuous bead of PU trim adhesive to the rear side of the flashing trim.
3. Insert the flashing trim into the chase, ensuring it overlaps the angle fillet.
4. Press firmly into place, and finish neatly by pointing with additional PU adhesive.
