Photography Disclaimer

Our aim is to provide our customers with as much information as possible to help make the purchase decision and ordering process easy. The photographs on our website are provided to help you in making a choice of wood species and grade. They offer an indication of the colour, grain pattern and other characteristics of a particular species or grade. It is important to take into consideration that the photographs on our website have the following limitations. The colour of the wood in the photograph may vary from the colour of the actual wood due to one or more of the following reasons:

Wood from trees grown in different locales can display different colour tones even though they are from the same species. Wood is a natural product and no two pieces are the same. The batch of wood from which the photographs were taken will vary from the batch of wood you receive for the reasons stated above.

The colour setting and resolution of individual monitors is variable and limited in accuracy. Photographs viewed at website resolutions may be limited in colour accuracy.

Our website contains photographs of completed projects that have been finished with a coating that has changed the colour of the wood.

Our website contains photographs of completed projects that have been left unfinished and the colour of the wood has changed due to exposure to UV and the weather.

Some photographs may only show a few pieces of wood or even a small section of one piece of wood.  A delivery of a wood product will usually contain hundreds and possibly even thousands of lineal metres. Therefore, it will inevitably contain a greater variety of colours than those shown in the photographs on our website.

The grain patterns and other characteristics of the wood in the photograph may vary from the colour of the actual wood due to one or more of the following reasons:
