When looking to create a perfectly level and smooth surface before laying new flooring, Setcrete self-levelling compound is the ideal choice. Simple to mix and apply, it produces a fast-setting and self-smoothing finish, with minimal odour.
Universal floor levelling compound is designed to provide an even finish in areas of light traffic and can be used on a variety of subfloors, both absorbent and non-absorbent. It also works well in highly trafficked areas, where strength and resilience is required, as it is fibre-reinforced, latex-free, and suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.
In cases where the floor must be raised quickly, deep base floor levelling compound provides a rapid drying time and can be applied in a range of thicknesses. Even quicker drying time is possible with our rapid set compound, which is ready for floor covering after just 45 minutes and can be walked on after 30 minutes.
To ensure optimal results, it is advised to use floor levelling acrylic primer to prepare the surface before applying the self-levelling compound. Not only does this help it stick to absorbent and non-absorbent subfloors, but it prevents it from drying too quickly, giving you more time to achieve a perfect finish.
